So there’s lots to look at here, including plenty of spelling errors, poor grammar, and lack of strong moral fiber (what?)

FAQ (Frequently Acertained Quandrys)

Q: Hey Ben Martin Photography, what’s your deal?

A:  Good question internet.  I’m a hobbiest-ametuer-aspiring-quasi-photorgapher.  I’ve always had an interest in photography, and since the advent of the digital age (and the creative flexibility it affords) I’ve been able to use the new tools of the trade to learn and expand my knowledge and ability.

Q: What do you do with the rest of your time?

A:  At my day job (mild mannered alter ego) I’m a civil engineer.  I work for the state of New York and design roads, bridges, and find new and creative ways to squander american tax dollars, it’s totally neato.

Q: So, where are you?

A:  I live in Albany NY and spend most of my time here, but I frequent New Hampshire where my family lives.  I’ll pretty much travel anywhere in the Northeast for photographic endevours.

Q: How can we get in touch with you.

A: Send me an email: ben@benmartinphotography.com

Q: What kind of equipment do you use for your photography?

A: Most of my work is done with cardboard disposable cameras.  I like the image quality of a good plastic lens.  Aside from that I use Pentax DSLRs and lenses.  I have a couple of cameras, a few lenses and a whole bunch of lighting stuff.  Email me if you’re a photog nerd and want specifics.

Q: Can I leave feedback?

A: Absolutely, feel free to comment on any posts or send me an email to tell me your gripe/praise.

Q: I Want you to shoot my wedding, how’s that work?

A: I’ve done a few weddings, but coupled with my day job I found it to be to stressful, and subsequently sold most of the equipment I need to shoot weddings.  So now I limit my photography to personal enjoyment and the occasional portrait shoot for friends and well-wishers.  I do know some fantastic wedding photographers and I’d be happy to point you in the right direction, or help you out on your search in any way I can.

Q: Mind if I borrow your images?

A: As a matter of fact I do.  All my images are protected by copyright and cannot be used without my permission.  Read the fine print.  If you really like something, or want to use it, let me know and we can work something out.

Q: Do you like Pie?

A: Yes
